Located in a Pays-de-Bray hamlet
Set between Rouen and Amiens this Norman house is in the middle of a small village near Aumale, a town with all amenities, shops and railway station.
Family house or holiday home in the countryside
This country house is surrounded by hedges in a garden with mature trees including many fruit trees. Rose bushes and hydrangeas are growing on the façade.
The front door in oak wood opens into a large room lit by windows on both sides. The floor tiles, the beams and the fireplace give a warm feeling to the place. There’s a nice fitted kitchen diner and a handy back kitchen with access to the garden. On ground floor there’s also a large bedroom, a bathroom and separate lavatory. An impressive wooden staircase goes up to a mezzanine landing with parquet floor. There’s a large bedroom on one side and another good size bedroom with En suite bathroom and dressing area plus a lavatory at the other end.
There are two more bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor of the outbuilding to accommodate friends and family. More living space could be added on ground floor if refurbished. Currently, it’s used as a garage and workshop rooms with a concrete staircase going down to a cellar.
Location
With easy access to motorways going to Rouen, Amiens, Calais then London, Paris and Brussels, this nice countryside house is not too far from the seaside (Baie de Somme and Cote d’Albatre).
