A house in perfect condition in a pocket of greenery
Set in a quiet little street, this little house is half hidden in a lovely garden.
The front door walks into the kitchen/diner. Next to it, the living-room has a bay window opening into a pergola. Two wood stoves are fitted into the fireplaces on top of the electric radiators. A second entrance at the back of the house gives way to a laundry corner, toilet room and staircase.
At the back of the house another entrance has a small laundry corner and gives access to the other rooms, among which, a bedroom with bathroom ensuite. There’s another bedroom and bathroom on the first floor together with a large room that is currently used as a dormitory room for guests. Also on ground floor, there’s a bedroom with a shower-room en suite. Upstairs, there’s another bedroom and shower-room and good space to accommodate guests or family. Under the ground floor bedroom but at the same level as the street, a cellar is useful to store bikes and stuff you don’t use every day.
A charming garden easy to maintain
Because of its small size the garden is easy to maintain, however it is nicely planted and allows privacy. There are two sheds covered up with green, one for the gardening tools the other one to shelter a car.
A village with shops and all amenities set in a lovely countryside
This charming house is set in Argueil, a village with less than 500 inhabitants but still with many small shops: grocer, baker, pharmacy, hairdresser, bookshop, post office.
Argueil is in-between Forges-Les-Eaux, a spa resort with a casino and Lyons-La-Forêt, classified as one of the most beautiful French villages.
