Six cottages in a very touristic region
Located in the heart of the Pays de Caux, in a village close to the beaches of the Côte d'Albâtre, this presbytery for sale has become a potentially very profitable rental investment. On three levels, six recent and comfortable cottages have been fitted out to accommodate up to 24 beds. Whatever the season, these cottages attract visitors all year round for long weekends, and for whole weeks during the summer period. The mainly northern European clientele - Belgian, Dutch, English, German - likes to recharge their batteries in this very preserved part of Normandy. Thanks to the very high chalk cliffs overlooking vast expanses of rocks and pebbles, the promoters were prevented from damaging the Cote d'Albâtre. Tourists enjoy nautical activities such as shore fishing, sea fishing, sailing, kite surfing, sea bathing... The 18-hole golf courses of Étretat, Dieppe, Saint-Riquier and Le Havre-Octeville are highly prized. The ecological heritage can be discovered by bicycle, by the flax cycle route, or on foot on the GR n° 21, called the cliff path. Nature lovers discover a countryside where biodiversity is preserved by crossing the plains and valleys. The tourist assets attract customers looking for comfortable lodgings. Moreover, Veules les roses is one of the most charming and authentic seaside towns in France, with the shortest river, flowing in the middle of a collection of Anglo-Norman villas from the 1930s and small preserved mills.
A large mid-19th century brick presbytery
At the foot of the church, built in local sandstone, this large building with large openings letting in light, has elegantly jointed brick facades to restore its nobility. The work carried out is of high quality: double-glazed wooden openings, natural slate roof, electrical and sanitation installations brought into compliance... If a family wanted to settle there, it is easy to restore a private part while maintaining a return rental on the two gites on the ground floor. The garden is of sufficient size not to be an excessive maintenance burden.
In the heart of a rural village
The village is very quiet, certainly without shops or services, but close to those of Veules les roses, Sotteville sur mer, Luneray... Pretty farm buildings and other castles are nestled in the heart of the closed masure, properties surrounded by high embankments planted along the more often majestic beeches. This decor is very specific to the Pays de Caux. In this sector, between the cities of Dieppe and Saint Valery en Caux, there are many opportunities for visits, shows and museums. The parks and gardens of Varengeville-sur-mer can be discovered in summer. Yvetot station allows you to take the train from Le Havre to Paris Saint Lazare in less than two hours. The A 29 motorway, which crosses the Seine Maritime department from Pont de Normandie to Amiens, is a real logistical asset for reaching Great Britain via Calais or the Belgian border in a few hours.
