Between the Golf of Dieppe and the beach of Pourville
After taking a private road, you enter the garden of the property planted with pines and hydrangeas. There is a spirit of the south of France in this residence.
This contemporary house is inspired by the American architecture of the 1960s. Facing south/west, it is quite exceptional because it demonstrates the audacity of the vision of the owners and their architect Jean Percillier to create a house ahead of his time. The opportunity to enjoy the sensational view of Pourville-sur-Mer, the Scie estuary and in particular the famous cliffs of the Côte d'Albâtre painted by Claude Monet, was seized by installing large bay windows, allowing natural light to penetrate and offering the living rooms multiplied views of the sea, the garden and the Scie valley.
An architect's house
This contemporary villa was built in 1965. The exterior appearance does not suffer from the comparison with the constructions of today. Only the interior layout and decoration deserve to be brought up to date. Regulatory and urban planning changes no longer allow us to imagine building in our time on such a privileged site. The panoramic view of the Scie estuary, the cliffs of Varengeville-sur-Mer and the sunsets over the English Channel are extraordinary!
But it's time to discover this architect's house by entering the entrance hall with its few steps leading to the two floors. Depending on the time of day, you will navigate with ease in this resolutely open and unusual living space.
You will move from the functional kitchen, to the convivial dining room or finally to the lounge area with its fireplace in the hearth which helps to spread a warm atmosphere, particularly appreciated on rainy days. So you can chat with your guests in a cocooning atmosphere. From spring, you will find this same feeling of freedom, of well-being, while enjoying the garden. This house has five bedrooms, a bathroom, a shower room as well as service rooms (laundry room, cellar, wine cellar, garage).
As a main residence or as a secondary residence, this family home is a magical place to relax and live.
An exceptional place
To reach the beach of Pourville, a hiking path is maintained to walk down to the sea in five minutes. Sea bathing, along the coast, windsurfing, kitesurfing, surfing, fishing on foot or by boat. All the nautical activities as well as a bakery, a delicatessen and restaurants… are within walking distance.
A rare setting, 3km from Dieppe and its historic center (maritime city with four ports), its restaurants and the entertainment of a city that lives all year round, its renowned market, its balneotherapy center and its 18-hole golf course.
Two hours from Paris by train (SNCF station) or by road, three hours from Brussels and six hours from London.
